R. Linda's Story

Life I can't believe it's been almost 25 years since high school! Since attending Hoover HS then graduating from Reeds Spring HS and Mizzou, I've lived in both Saint Louis, MO and Richmond, VA. I'm now living in St. Peters, MO (St. Louis suburb) with my husband, Stoney. I enjoy playing volleyball, attending aerobics classes and strength training at Gold's Gym, hosting TX Hold 'Em tourneys, dining out with friends and my not so secret vice is watching reality TV. I also keep busy as a volunteer for the Missouri Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition. Stoney and I love to travel -- some of our favorite destinations include Amsterdam, Cape Cod and the Outer Banks. We were married in Las Vegas on Thanksgiving Day 2003 and try to make it back there each year on our anniversary. School High school was a good time for me; although, you couldn't have told me that at the time! My best memories are of playing sports (especially volleyball which I still play...Expand for more
today) and other school activities like the drama club and flag corps. I've lost touch with my high school friends but would love to hear from folks! College College was a blast! I got off to a slow start at Baylor but by the time I made it to Mizzou my sophomore year, the fun was in full swing. My best memories include the fun times with my Kappa Kappa Gamma sisters, bottomless cup nights at By George's and I'll never forget the summer of 1988 in Columbia -- summer school was the best! Workplace Since graduating from Mizzou with a BSBA in Finance, I've worked for several financial services companies including Citibank, GMAC Insurance and Fireman's Fund Insurance as an underwriter, project manager and in other management/leadership roles. Currently, I'm the Contact Center Manager for a local credit union. I've been very fortunate to have done some cool stuff in my career and to have a fantastic network of co-workers who also became friends.
